93 'Til Infinity

The Fuck Death Foundation is an organization dedicated to the elimination of death. It was founded in 2007 by Jeremy Stewart and Simon Wilkinson.

93 'Til Infinity is a massive memento mori masquerading as a gala fundraiser. It's a show about altruism, death, technology, commerce, the power of unadulterated optimism—and the insecurity it betrays. Contributing artists include Tyler Clark Burke, Paul Butler, Robyn Cumming, Jay Isaac, Jeremy Jansen, Jon Knowles, Will Munro, Morley Shayuk, Jeremy Stewart and Simon Wilkinson. 10% of all purchases will go to the Will Munro Fund for Queer & Trans Youth Living with Cancer.

January 15 - 30, 2011

93 'Til Infinity is curated by Jeremy Stewart, a Canadian designer and artist living and working in Toronto. Stewart studied design (BDes) and education (BEd) at York University. Upon graduating, he worked at Bruce Mau Design on projects for MIT and the Gagosian Gallery. His work is driven by a philosophical curiosity about death, a life well-lived, and the relationship between the two.

Stewart has lectured about sweatsuits at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design and created a memento mori poster featuring Lil' Wayne for Artexte in Montreal. A 2007 textile design created in collaboration with Jeremy Laing was acquired by the ROM for their Costume and Textile Collection. His work has also been featured in The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, Blackbook, Contemporary, I.D., Azure, and on various CBC programs.

Some of his favourite artists were graphic designers.
